Oil

Baronìa is a region with a vocation for the production of extra virgin olive oil, thanks to a territory with an ideal climate and draining soils with a calcareous composition.

Wines

Viticulture in the Baronìa has also always been practiced, as in the rest of Sardinia.

Cheeses

The Baronìa has a great agro-pastoral tradition, and cheese has always been the basis of the area’s food and economy, by virtue of healthy and numerous flocks, pristine and often spontaneous pastures, and personnel dedicated to this activity for centuries.

Sa Pompìa

Sa pompìa is a variety of lemon endemic to Sardinia, widespread particularly in the municipality of Siniscola and in some areas of Baronia.

Carasatu Bread

Bread carasatu (or carasàu), is a typical Sardinian bread, widespread throughout Sardinia. Some archaeological findings suggest that it was produced as early as the Bronze Age, this gives us an idea of the antiquity of its origin.
